I recently finished shooting an episode of Monster Fish for National Geographic Television about sturgeon, a prehistoric fish that inhabits the coastal rivers of the Pacific Northwest.

We shot the show on a Sony F3, a RED Scarlet, Canon 5Ds and GoPro Heros and worked with a stellar cast: Zeb Hogan (friend, fish biologist, host), Christian Begin (partner in crime behind the camera), Drew Pulley (Producer from National Geographic TV) and Eric Saltzer (Associate Producer from National Geographic TV).

Our motley crew spent two long weeks together filming, what we all agree, will be a very good hour of television.  We also had a lot of fun.  The photos below are a selection of the experiences we had along our journey.  Enjoy!
