During the summer of 2012, I was hired by National Geographic to work as the Director of Photography for an ongoing series called ‘Monster Fish.’

We shot the series with a Sony F3, a RED Scarlet and a Canon 5D.  I did all of the underwater shooting on SCUBA with the Canon 5D.

For an episode about salmon, our crew traveled to Alaska to film in a variety of demanding situations.  During the shoot, I spent several days filming underwater in frigid rivers on SCUBA, on boats and from helicopters.
